Jim McDonnell, president and founder of Patrick James, Inc., has over 35 years of experience in the custom carpet and handmade rug industry. He works closely with design professionals throughout the United States, and abroad, to design, develop, and deliver fine handmade rugs and custom carpet. He is well-regarded as an expert in his field. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing and implementing domestic and international sales and marketing programs for the A+D industry.

Project Manager

Patrick McDonnell is a fourth-generation carpet and rug sales consultant. He was raised in Atlanta, where he was immersed in fine design from a young age. Initially exposed to the industry by his great-grandmother Aimee Lacey, of Lacey-Champion, his interest in design grew deep as his mother and father developed their careers in interior design and carpet and rug manufacturing. Patrick began his career as a civil engineer and brings the same focus and attention-to-detail from his engineering background to the design industry.
